PHOTOGRAPHS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO SECURITY POLICE, EXTRA ROADBLOCKS WERE PUT UP AND LAND MINE CHECKS WERE MADE.

    DURING A SPEECH AT ST. YRIEIX, PRESIDENT DE GAULLE SAID FRANCE, WITH "GOOD SENSE, DIGNITY AND FIRMNESS" WAS ACTING IN HER OWN WAY TO PRESERVE WORLD PEACE, AS SHE HAD DONE FOR CENTURIES.
