The new Jordanian cabinet has been designed to conform with the Rabat Arab Summit resolution which named the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) as also representative of the palestinian people.
The 90-minute meeting reportedly concentrated on the main points and principles in King Hussein's letter on Saturday (23 November) asking the Premier to form the new government, and tasks for each ministry.
King Hussein's letter of designation asked the new government to give full support to the Palestinian people nd the PLO to recover their legitimate rights within the framework of Arab commitments. He also wanted the new government to promote concerted Arab action in all areas.
