    ACCORDING TO CONFERENCE SOURCES, INDIA PROPOSED THAT THE SOVIET UNION SHOULD ATTEND A SECOND AFRO-ASIAN SUMMIT. THIS HAD BEEN EXPECTED TO PRODUCED A VERBAL CLASH, BUT MARSHAL CHEN YI, THE CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTER WHO IS HEADING HIS COUNTRY'S DELEGATION, MADE NO REFERENCE TO IT IN HIS SPEECH.

    SHOULD THEY DECIDE ON A SECOND CONFERENCE, DELEGATES ARE EXPECTED TO NAME THE TIME AND PLACE. INDIA HAS SUGGESTED THAT A CONFERENCE BE HELD NEXT APRIL (1965) IN AN AFRICAN COUNTRY.
