TRANSCRIPT SEQ 4: IRAQI DELEGATE: We, Mr. President, do not believe, the Palestinian people to be mere refugees who have to be settled. They are people like any other people, entitled to the right to self-determination in their own country. Fortunately, this assembly has become to recognise that right, and it has been affirmed in a number of resolutions approved during the last three sessions. We, Mr. President, support all the efforts made by our sister Arab state, Egypt, Syria and Jordan, to regain their territories and to realise the complete withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces. We feel that the cause of the Palestinian people and the cause of the three Arab states that have been aggressed against, is gaining more and more support among the peoples of the world.
