Another bomb warning in Belfast. Two men have planted a bomb on the firs floor of Hotel Hammel, in the city centre.
The army takes control to make sure everyone leaves the danger area, because although the men who planted the bomb warned the hotel staff to leave, they gave no time limit.
Nothing happened to the hotel for about for hours, and a bomb disposal officer went in to take a closer look. He left just in time.
Had the bomb disposal officer stayed ten seconds longer, he would certainly have been killed. As it was, he escaped without injury. No one was hurt, but another landmark in Belfast is now just a heap of rubble.
