TRANSCRIPT: PHOTOGRAPHER DRIVING CAR: "ONE OF MY BOSSES ONCE TOLD ME YOU CAN HAVE THE GREATEST FILM WRAP, BUT YOUR WORK IF IT ISN'T IN NEW YORK IT ISN'T WORTH ONE CENT. YOU HAVE TO GET IT TO NEW YORK IN TIME. SO LETS SAY THAT I WILL HAVE SHOT THIS STORY SIX HOURS BEFORE THE PLANE LEAVES, PLUS ELEVEN HOURS FLYING TIME, GIVE IT ANOTHER FOUR OR FIVE HOURS BEFORE THE PLANES UNLOADED, PACKETS TAKEN OFF GONE THROUGH CUSTOMS THAT MEANS WE HAVE 22 HOURS PLUS TWO HOURS PROCESSING IS 24 HOURS - IT MUST TAKE THAT LONG, NORMALLY IT WILL TAKE EVEN LONGER."

MOBILE TRANSMISSION DEVISE SPOKESMAN: "WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A MOBILE TRANSMISSION DEVISE ALLOWING TODAY'S PHOTOGRAPHER TO TRANSMIT HIS COLOUR SHOTS DIRECTLY FROM THE SCENE OF ACTION TO HIS HEAD QUARTERS IN NEW YORK OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD. ALL THE PHOTOGRAPHER HAS TO DO IS TAKE HIS SPOOL OF FILM, FRESHLY DEVELOPED FILM AND INSERT IT INTO OUR SATELLITE TRANSMISSION DEVICE AFTER PUTTING THE FILM IN PLACE ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS TURN THE MACHINE ON AND A SOPHISTICATED CAMERA WHICH IS POSITIONED INSIDE THIS DEVICE AUTOMATICALLY DIGITIZES AND PLACES THE SHOTS WE HAVE INSIDE THE MEMORY OF THE COMPUTER WHICH IS LOCATED INSIDE THIS DEVICE HERE. HAVING DONE SO THE PHOTOGRAPHER CAN NOW DISPLAY THE DIFFERENT SHOTS ON THE SCREEN IN FRONT OF US HERE. HE CAN LOOK AT THEM, EXAMINE THEM, MAKE SOME BASIC COLOUR CORRECTIONS, CROP THEM TO THE SIZE HE FEELS OPTIUM, AND THEN TRANSMIT THEM AT HIGH SPEED BACK TO HIS HOME OFFICE IN NEW YORK OR ANYWHERE."

MAGAZINE PHOTOGRAPHER: "LETS ASSUME FOR ME AS A MAGAZINE PHOTOGRAPHER THAT IT WILL HAVE ONLY GREAT MEANINGS ON THURSDAYS, FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS, FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER EMPLOYED BY A.P. OR THE NEW YORK TIMES IT WILL HAVE MEANING EVERY HOUR OF THE DAY SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. HE CAN START THINKING IN TERMS OF GETTING PICTURES INTO THE VARIOUS EDITIONS OF HIS DAILY PAPERS, HE CAN NOT ONLY THINK I'LL GET THIS INTO TOMORROW'S NEW YORK TIMES, HE CAN SAY I'LL GET THIS INTO THIS AFTERNOONS EARLY EDITION. IN CERTAIN EVENTS, YOU MAY HAVE A SITUATION WHERE AN EVENING PAPER WILL BE OUT WITH A COLOUR PHOTO ON ITS FRONT PAGE BEFORE THE 7pm NEWS ON TV WILL HAVE IT. ABSOLUTELY POSSIBLE."
