    THE WHALE - A YOUNG ONE TWO TONS - IS RARE FOR ITS FORMATION OF THREE TEETH INSTEAD OF TWO IN THIS SPECIES.

    THIS ONE BELIEVED ALMOST EXTINCT IS A FREAK MESOPLODON, THE TOOTHED WHALE (NORMALLY OF ONE PAIR OF TEETH) BELONGING TO THE ZIPHIOID (BAKED WHALE) FAMILY.

    AFTER CUTTING UP, THE WHALE WAS BEING TRANSPORTED TO THE MUSEUM IN PARIS FOR FURTHER STUDY. IT IS BELIEVED ONLY 12 OTHERS OF THIS TYPE ARE IN THE KEEPING OF MUSEUMS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
