    INTERVIEWER: "WHAT DO YOU SHOOT FOR? IS IT PRIMARILY ENTERTAINMENT OR DO SO SHOOT FOR RECORDS? WHAT?"



    SHREWSBERRY: "WELL, WE TRY TO PLEASE THE CROWDS AND WE TRY TO SEE HOW FAR WE CAN GO WITH THE CAR. SEE HOW FAST AND HOW FAR WE CAN GO WITH IT. PEOPLE LIKE TO SEE (INDISTINCT) THE CAR AND BACK WHEELS."



    INTERVIEWER: "HOW MUCH SOUPING DO YOU HAVE TO DO ON A VEHICLE LIKE THIS? IN OTHER WORDS WHAT'S THE HORSE POWER, AND THINGS LIKE THIS?"



    SHREWSBERRY: "WELL THIS CAR HERE IS A 1968 DODGE AND IT HAS APPROXIMATELY TWELVE HUNDRED HORSEPOWER. THE ENGINE IS MOUNTED IN THE REAR SEAT AND ITS GOT A (INDISTINCT) AND ITS HIGHLY MODIFIED. IT'S MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR DOING WHEEL STANDS."



    INTERVIEWER: "HOW FAST DO YOU ACTUALLY GET WHEN THE CAR IS UP?"



    SHREWSBERRY: "WELL, THE FASTEST I'VE GONE WITH THIS CAR IS A HUNDRED & FORTY FOUR...LAST NIGHT I RAN HUNDRED AND Twenty-ONE WITH IT."



    INTERVIEWER: "BILL, WHEN THE CAR'S ACTUALLY UP, HOW DO YOU CONTROL IT?"



    SHREWSBERRY: "WELL WHAT I TRY TO DO IS AIM IT IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION AND (INDISTINCT) DIFFERENT WIND, YOU CAN ADJUST IT ROUND THE WAY YOU AIM THE CAR, AND TYRE PRESSURES, AND JUST DIFFERENT THINGS THAT I TRY. I'VE BEEN DOING IT NOW FOR A LITTLE OVER A MILE WITH THE CAR, SO THAT'S ABOUT FIFTY-SEVEN HUNDRED FEET."
