    **NOTE: The speaker seems to say this is the "Trigger" US submarine but that is probably not accurate as the first "Trigger" submarine was only used until the 1940's and the second not used until much later than this footage. This footage likely shows the "Tang" submarine, the first of the post-war U. S. submarines, which set an American depth record of 713 feet in 1952.
