Background: The U.S. Air Force displayed its Super Sabre jet fighters - a new army to equip Norway and Denmark's Air Force in the NATO defence shield - at Aalborg, Jutland's East coast city, September 5.

A 45,000-strong crowd saw the jets going through their paces at a first-time viewing. Hitherto Super Sabres kept out of the public eye. Both countries in the near future will receive a squadron.

The Aalborg show ran a few seconds behind an identical show at Sola Airport, Bergen -- the jets streaked from North Dakota, USA, thrice took in fuel from tanker aircraft without stopping, soared over Sola, then Aalborg.
