  • Description

Visitors again dominated the TILT international swimming meeting in Paris yesterday (16 February) after a good day on Saturday.

There was a big influx of swimmers from many countries, including thirty-two from Russia and sixteen from the United States.

Americans dominated the women's two-hundred metres free-style and the men's two-hundred metres back-stroke, but Russia and Sweden gained the major honours in the men's and women's two-hundred-metres breast-stroke.

No world records were set during the meeting however as the events were swum in a twenty-five metre pool. (World record times are recorded in a fifty-metre pool.)
