    THE TEAM OF 14 MEN AND WOMEN WAS LED BY MADAME KWOWO, THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE GHANAIAN COMMITTEE. THE WORK OF THE COMMITTEE IS VITALLY IMPORTANT TO THE PEOPLE OF DAHOMEY WHO NOW MERELY SUBSIST ON A DIET OF CORN, YAMS AND CASSAVA FROM ISOLATED FIELDS.

    THE COMMITTEE SPENT MORE TIME AT OUANDO, THE CENTRE FOR THE PROJECT, WHERE MADAME KWOWO ALSO GAVE COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS TO THE WOMEN OF THE VILLAGE AND TO OTHER VILLAGE LEADERS WHO WILL PASS ON THEIR KNOWLEDGE IN THEIR OWN AREAS.
