  • Description

HERE IN NEW YORK TODAY, MORE EVIDENCE OF THE REVOLUTION FEVER SPARKED BY CASTRO'S FIGHT IN CUBA. PICKETS IN FRONT OF -- OF ALL PLACES -- RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL.

THE DEMONSTRATORS HAD NOTHING AGAINST THE MUSIC HALL'S CURRENT MOVIE, OR THE ROCKETTES. THEY WERE DENOUNCING THE CURRENT REGIME IN NICARAGUA, ANOTHER TROUBLED CENTRAL AMERICAN COUNTRY. THEY CHOSE THE MUSIC HALL SIDEWALK, BECAUSE THE NICARAGUAN CONSULATE GENERAL HAPPENS TO BE LOCATED IN THE SAME BLOCK. AND ALSO, IT'S REASONABLE TO SUPPOSE, BECAUSE THEY WERE SURE OF A READY-MADE AUDIENCE OF MOVIE GOERS AND SHOPPERS.

ALL IN ALL, IT WAS A BUSY DAY OF LATIN AMERICAN NEWS FRONT.
