    In semi-formal ceremony at the White House, Washington, Mar 1, President kennedy signed the first Bill to come before his since he assumed the Presidency.

    The Bill was a Joint Resolution to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1st inaugural of Abraham Lincoln.

    Eight Senators and Representatives from four States were present at the ceremony. They were:-Representative F. Schwengel of Iowa; Representative P. Mack Jnr. of Illinois; Senator Everett Dirksen of Illinois; Senator Vance Hartke of Indiana; Representative Winfield K. Denton of Indiana; Senator John Sherman Cooper of Kentucky; Representative William G. Bray of Indiana; and Senator Paul H. Douglas of Illinois.
