    As the February 5 deadline to the current Middle East ceasefire approaches, the Israeli Military Command in the sinai desert is once again on alert. For tank crews, there are constant desert manoeuvres and exercises to keep at peak readiness.

    Cameraman Rolf Kneller rode with a tank squadron on an exercise deep in the Sinai desert, and returned with some excellent footage of the tank crews practising attacking and defensive formations.
