    MR. PAUL HASLUCK, WHO HAS BEEN APPOINTED MINISTER FOR EXTERNAL AFFAIRS IN APRIL FOLLOWING THE RESIGNATION OF SIR GARFIELD BARWICK, ALSO CALLED ON MR. POTE SARASIN, FORMER SECRETARY-GENERAL OF THE SOUTH-EAST ASIA TREATY ORGANISATION, AND NOW MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

    THE AUSTRALIAN MINISTER WHO LEAVES BANGKOK ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10, WAS TAKEN ON A TOUR OF A MILITARY TECHNICAL TRAINING SCHOOL BY THAI REAR AIR MARSHAL CHAMRAS VEENAKUPT.

    SOON AFTER HIS ARRIVAL ON JUNE 6, MINISTER PAUL HASLUCK, VISITED THE THAI-AUSTRALIAN VEHICLE RE-BUILD WORKSHOPS AT RANGSIT, 25 MILES FROM BANGKOK.

    THIS WORKSHOP WHICH IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION, IS BEING BUILT WITH AIR FROM AUSTRALIA. THE AID IS MOSTLY IN THE FORM OF EQUIPMENT VALUED AT SEVERAL THOUSAND AUSTRALIAN POUNDS.
