    The Prime Minister of Iran, Mr. Amir Abbas Hoveida arrived in Amman on Friday(22 June) for a three day official visit to Jordan. Mr. Hovaida was in Jordan as the guest of his Jordanian counterpart, Mr. Zeid El-Rifai.

    He was welcomed at Amman airport by the Chief of the Royal Court, Mr. Ahmed Token, Prime Minister Zeid El-Rifai, and top state officials.

    While he is in Jordan, Mr. Hoveida will meet King Hussain at a dinner banquet in his honour. He will also visit Crown Prince Hassan and visit the King Hussain Medical City. Before he flies home to Iran, Mr. Hoveida will visit several units of the Arabian army.

    SYNOPSIS: There was a guard of honour and an official welcome for Iranian Prime Minister Mr. Amir Abbas Hoveidaa when he arrived in Amman on Friday for a three day official visit to Jordan. When the Iranian leader arrived, he was welcomed by Jordanian Prime Minister Mr. Zeid El-Rifai and his ministers.

    Before he left Amman Airport with the official party, Prime Minister Hoveida inspected the Guard of Honour with Prime Minister Zeid El-Rifai. In Amman Mr. Hoveida was the official guest at King Hussein's Royal Palace.

    During his three days in Jordan as the guest of the Government, Mr. Hoveida will be the official guest at a royal banquet, he'll meet Crown Prince Hassan, and visit the King Hussein Medical City and several units of the Arabian army.
