This is the Soviet Trans-Carpathian area...He who visited the place at least once will never forget its unique beauty. Every year scores of thousands of people from various cities and villages of the Soviet Union spend their vacations there. In the Carpathian Mts. one can meet students from Moscow and building workers from Riga, engineers from Kiev and farmers from Siberia, Esthonia doctors and residents of the far-away Chukotak Peninsula.
The Trans-Carpathian area is a vast limitless source of health and vigour. The mountain air, mineral waters different in gas and salt content, can put on their feet even the most ill people.
