Coming from many different parts of China, the amateur artists of various nationalities converse intimately. An atmosphere of close fraternal friendship fills the palace grounds.
Many of the amateur artists had been series of labourers in the past. Today, they are masters of the state. Some are directors of People's Communes, leaders of production brigades or outstanding commune members. Among them are members of the Chinese Communist Party, members of the Communist Youth League or women cadres. And of course, they are all activists in amateur art.
A big gala party is held. Programmes are performed by all the delegations. An unforgettable day is passed amidst cheerful singing and dancing.
