Was not allowed to photograph the criminal in jail.

Secured permission to photograph the Prime Minister Mr Inonu after waiting four hours as he is so busy.

Photographed him at his desk signing documents after which he kindly consented to say a few words to the people of England. His message was this.

"Please transmit. My greetings and my good wishes to the people of England. As the Turkish and English Governments we are now in a serious and constructive work. We search success for ta peace keeping measure in Cyprus.

This is the news of the day."

Mr Inonu, in spite of his 80 years puts in more than a full days work. After working at home and attending Parliament, he comes to office at 4.30 every day, and stays until after 7 p.m. he still had an excellent sense of humor. When he saw the movie equipment he said jokingly "Are those guns?"
