Background: Per our discussion just before the strike struck, I am transmitting to you two sets of material on the segmented rocket sled motor for your editing as you see fit and offering to Ray Hasson for NBC syndication and overseas distribution also.

The enclosed materials are two each of the following:
1) 16mm color silent string-out
2) Audio taps of actual sounds
3) Scene list
4) Working draft script or caption sheet
You will recall that I discussed this particular film briefly ??? Ray when he was out on the coast in March.

We would like to give NBC the advantage of selecting timing and of being the only network to receive the incompletely edited footage. On the off chance that this film could make Huntley Brinkley, we would be willing to give you a complete exclusive for that purpose. If, as is more probable, it goes the syndication route, we would propose to prepare our own film clip of 60-80 seconds for distribution in some areas of primary importance to us.

We would appreciate information as to what stations NBC syndication reaches so we will not be undercutting your syndication effort or doubling up on stations.

Since this project is now timeless, we would be interested in the network's plans and it would be helpful to us to arrive at a mutually agreeable date with a little lead time so we may get the appropriate number of prints of our own scaled down version, if required.
