    THE BRITISH CHAMPION, SALLY-ANNE STAPLEFORD WAS SECOND, AND NICOLE HASSLER OF FRANCE WAS THIRD.IN LAST YEAR'S OLYMPICS, MISS HASSLER HAD BEEN FOURTH AND MISS STAPLEFORD, ELEVENTH.

    MISS HEITZER WAS RUNNER UP TO SKOUKJE DIJKSTRA OF HOLLAND, NOW A PROFESSIONAL, FOR THE THREE BIT TITLES IN 1964.

    THE AUSTRIAN GIRL SAID AFTER HER SUCCESS THAT SHE WOULD BE COMPETING IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, TAKING PLACE IN COLORADO SPRINGS EARLY NEXT MONTH.

    TWENTY COMPETITORS TOOK PART IN THE EVENT.
