A RECENT REPORT QUOTING THE VIET CONG GIAI PRESS AGENCY SAID THE AMERICANS WERE BEING RELEASED "BECAUSE THEY HAVE SHOWN SINCERE REPENTANCE OVER THE CRIMES THEY HAD COMMITTED AGAINST THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE PEOPLE AND HAVE OBSERVED A DISCIPLINE AND THE REGULATIONS DURING THEIR DETENTION". MR. HAYDEN SAYS HE REPRESENTS THE COMMITTEE FOR THE DEFENCE OF RIGHTS OF PRISONERS FREED BY THE NATIONAL LIBERATION FRONT, COMPRISING SEVERAL PACIFIST ORGANISATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE NATION LIBERATION FRONT (NLF) IS THE POLITICAL ARM OF THE VIET CONG IN SOUTH VIETNAM.
