Background: A continuation of the roll on which the UN Economic Commission footage is on. The last 60' of roll. This afternoon Jomo Kenyatta made a statement on land settlement, which will involve the rehabilitation of more than one million people here in Kenya. I have not as yet received my copy of the statement, but no doubt it will be available in London tomorrow morning, as two more millions of pound from Britain are involved in this transaction!!. Immediately after the press conference I was requested to remain at the PMs office as he was to meet the Kenya Supreme Court Justices on an informal visit. I'm aware that the story does not hold up by itself but it was PR that I shot it.
