    DURING HIS TALKS IN BONN PRESIDENT DIORI MET CHANCELLOR KURT KIESINGER. THE TWO LEADERS DISCUSSED POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS IN AFRICA AND ECONOMICAL AND TECHNICAL CO-OPERATION BETWEEN WEST GERMANY AND NIGER.

    M. DIORI ALSO CALLED ON ECONOMIC CO-OPERATION MINISTER, HANS JUERGEN WISCHNEWSKI, WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPMENT AID, TO DISCUSSED WEST GERMAN HELP IN EXTENDING NIGER'S WATER SUPPLY AND IRRIGATION SYSTEM.

    IN FRANKFURT ON WEDNESDAY (3 MAR) PRESIDENT DIORI SIGNED A THREE MILLION MARK (ABOUT GBP310,000 STERLING) CREDIT AGREEMENT TO HELP FINANCE THE EXTENSION OF NIAMEY'S WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM AND IRRIGATION FACILITIES IN NIGER'S II PROVINCES.

    SO FAR ON HIS PROVINCIAL TOUR THE PRESIDENT HAS VISITED COLOGNE, WHERE HE TOURED THE OFFICES OF A GOVERNMENT SPONSORED OVERSEAS RADIO NETWORK AND THE CITY'S WORLD FAMOUS GOTHIC CATHEDRAL, AND HANOVER, CAPITAL OF LOWER SAXONY STATE IN NORTHERN GERMANY.

    M. DIORI AND HIS PARTY WERE SHOWN OVER THE VOLKSWAGEN WORKS TODAY BY THE HEAD OF THE GIANT ORGANISATION, MR. NORDHOFF.
