    Former world lightweight boxing champion Ken Buchanan of Scotland and Chang Kil Lee of Korea, who is ranked as a contender for the world junior welterweight title, are scheduled to meet in a ten-round bout in Madison Square Garden in New York on Monday (4 December 1972).

    Buchanan won the lightweight title in 1970, but lost it earlier this year to Roberto Duran of Panama. A re-match with Duran is scheduled for next June.

    Chang Kil Lee is currently the Oriental junior welterweight champion. He has established an impressive record in his short fighting career - nineteen wins, nine of them by knockouts, and no losses. His appearance at Madison Square Garden will mark his first boat outside Korea.

    Both man have ben undergoing strenuous training in preparation for Monday's fight.
