    FOR THE OCCASION THE QUEEN WORE A WHITE ORGANZA DRESS, A SPARKLING TIARA, A DIAMOND NECKLACE, EAR-RINGS AND A BRACELET.

    THE QUEEN AND THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH STOOD AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE THEATRE AND WAVED TO THE CROWD, ACKNOWLEDGING THE SPONTANEOUS CHEERING AND CLAPPING.

    THE NIGHT AT THE OPERA ENDED THE FOURTH DAY OF THE ROYAL STATE VISIT TO GERMANY. THE QUEEN AND THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH LATER LEFT MUNICH BY TRAIN FOR SALEM, ON LAKE CONSTANCE, TO SPEND THE WEEKEND WITH WEST GERMAN RELATIVES.
