    IN WINNING THE TITLE FOR THE FOURTH TIME IN SUCCESSION, SJOUKJE DIJKSTRA GAVE AN ALMOST PERFECT PERFORMANCE OF FREE SKATING WHICH INCLUDED A SERIES OF DIFFICULT JUMPS.

    DURING THE FIRST TWO DAYS OF THE FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS BEING HELD IN BUDAPEST MISS DIJKSTRA ESTABLISHED A BIG LEAD BY HER SUCCESS IN THE COMPULSORY FIGURE SKATING.SHE WAS MORE THAN 70 POINTS AHEAD OF HER NEAREST RIVAL BEFORE TODAY'S FINAL STAGE - THE FREE SKATING - BEGAN.

    1.SJOUKJE DIJKSTRA, NETHERLANDS, 9 PLACEMENTS - 2, 324.6 POINTS
    2.NICOLE HASSLER, FRANCE, 25 PLACEMENTS - 2, 188.5 POINTS
    3.REGINA HEITZER, AUSTRIA, 27 PLACEMENTS - 2, 187.
