SYNOPSIS: New Zealand's All Blacks won their third rugby international of the current British Isles tour with a nine-nil win over England on Saturday. In the slippery conditions at Twickenham in London, one try was scored. Captain, Ian Kirkpatrick dived over the line near the goalposts.

Scrum half Sid Going made the break and was pulled down by England defenders. The heavy New Zealand pack moved into the ruck and the ball went to Ian Kirkpatrick. He dummied and dived over.

The try was converted by fullback, Joe Karam, bringing the score to six-nil.

Penalties favoured England, but the fullback Sam Double was off form and missed four attempts at goal. The flow of play was interrupted by frequent stoppages by Scottish referee, J. Young.

Although the All Blacks heavy forwards dominated the game, the English backs initiated many promising movements, which were stopped only by solid New Zealand tackling. The All Blacks have yet to meet the Republic of Ireland for the fourth international game of the tour.

New Zealand's early lead of six-nil was maintained until well into the second half England won the ball from the line-out and tried to kick clear. Winger, Bryan Williams took the catch and dropped a field goal with the nearest English player yards away.
