    THE DEMONSTRATORS, LED BY 78-YEAR-OLD REVEREND A.J.MUSTE, CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMITTEE FOR NON-VIOLENT ACTION, TOO UP THEIR POSITIONS ON TUESDAY AND VOWED TO REMAIN OUTSIDE THE A.E.C.OFFICES UNTIL FRIDAY - ANNIVERSARY OF THE DROPPING OF THE SECOND ATOM BOMB ON NAGASAKI.MANY CARRIED SIGNS CONDEMNING ATOMIC WEAPONS AND TESTING.

    AT THE SAME TIME ON A STREET CORNER IN MANHATTAN, ANOTHER HIROSHIMA DAY RALLY WAS UNDERWAY, THIS ONE ATTRACTING A FAR LARGER CROWD.SPEAKERS URGED THAT THE U.S.SENATE RATIFY THE TREATY RESTRICTING NUCLEAR TESTING TO UNDERGROUND BLASTS.
