  • Description

Muhammed Ali, the former Cassius Clay, will be attempting to regain the Heavyweight crown from reigning Champion Joe Frazier on March 8th in New York's Madison Square Garden. Ali was stripped of the title in 1967 when he refused to be drafted into the Army, spending three and a half years out of the ring before being allowed back last year. The Ali-Frazier bout is being billed as "Fight of a Lifetime", "Fight of the Century" or "The Biggest Event in Sports History". Whatever it is--both Champion and challenger are said to be assured of 2,500,000 dollars (1,400,00 pounds sterling) each--win or lose. In this interview, given to an NBC reporter, Muhammed Ali shows that he has not lost any of his confidence.

A brief introduction is given for on-camera presentation to the item, as the film starts with Ali speaking directly to camera.
