They sing and dance to express their warm regards and friendly sentiments for the friendship envoys of the heroic Kampuchean people.
The delegation which is led by Pol Pot, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Kampuchean Communist Party and Prime Minister of the Government of Democratic Kampuchea has come to China for an official friendly visit at the invitation of the General Committee of the Chinese communist Party and the Chinese government.
Present at the airport to greet the distinguished guests are Hua Kuo-feng, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Premier of the State Council, Teng Hsiao-ping and Li Hsien-nien, Vice-Chairmen of the C.P.C. Central Committee and Vice-Premiers of the State Council.
The kampuchean Party and Government Delegation includes Ieng Sary member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kampuchea and Deputy Prime Minister in Charge of Foreign Affairs; Von Vet, member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Economic Affairs; and Thiounn Thioeun Minister of Health.

A grand welcoming ceremony is held at the airport.
Secretary Pol Pot, accompanied by Chairman Hua Kuo-feng, reviews a guard of honour made up of men of the three services of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He is cheered by the welcoming crowds, waving bouquets and streamers.
Kampuchean ambassador to China and MRS. Pich Cheang and diplomatic envoys of other countries in Peking are also present at the airport.
The peoples of China and Kampuchea are close comrades-in-arms who are fighting shoulder to shoulder in the struggles against imperialism, revisionism and hegemonism. The Kampuchean Party and Government Delegation led by Secretary Pol Pot has brought with them the militant friendship of the Kampuchean people for the Chinese people. Their visit will add the mass jubilations on the Chinese National Day which falls on Oct. 1.
As the motorcade is approaching Tiananmen Square, Secretary Pol Pot, accompanied by Chairman Hua Kuo-feng, changes to an open limousine to acknowledge welcome of the dancing crowds.
