    A LARGE CROWD WAITED ON THE FRINGES OF THE AIRPORT FOR THE ARRIVAL OF THE PRIME MINISTER'S AIRCRAFT FROM DJAKARTA. HUNDREDS OF THE FAMOUS BALI MAIDENS GAVE THE TRADITIONAL WARM WELCOME AND SHOWERED PETALS OVER HIM AS HE MADE HIS WAY TO THE TERMINAL BUILDINGS.

    THE CHINESE PRIME MINSTER LEFT DJAKARTA TODAY (MONDAY) FOR PEKING AFTER HIS NINE-DAY VISIT. FAREWELLS BETWEEN MR. CHOU AND PRESIDENT SUKARNO WERE TAKEN AT THE PRESIDENTIAL PALACE, WHILE AT THE AIRPORT THE SECOND AND THIRD DEPUTY PRIME MINISTERS SAW OFF THEIR GUEST.

    MR. CHOU'S VISIT TO DJAKARTA COINCIDED WITH THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS OF THE FIRST AFRO-ASIAN CONFERENCE. MUCH OF HIS TIME WAS BELIEVED SPENT IN SECRET TALKS WITH DELEGATIONS FROM INDONESIA, CAMBODIA, NORTH VIETNAM AND NORTH KOREA. IT IS BELIEVED THAT STRONG CHINESE ATTEMPTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO RALLY SUPPORT FOR NORTH VIETNAM AND FOR A UNITED AFRO-ASIAN FRONT AGAINST THE UNITED STATES.
