Background: Scientists are always interested to know how do fish feel in natural conditions ... and new technique came to their help.

A transmitting television camera is lowered into the water on a cable from a winch.

Now look at the television screen -- life in the depths of the water is now accessible to the sight of men. Scientists can now visit the fish.

The Sevaryanka submarine is equipped for research work. Ichthyologists and oceanographers now not only hear what goes on in the depths of the water but they can also read about it on the tape of the self recorder... and they can judge by what the electronic instruments are showing.

With their own eyes the scientists can observe the life of the underwater kingdom.
