The two politicians discussed the world political situation and the good relations which exist between the two countries.
In the coming year President Ceausescu hopes to pay a visit to the Congo Republic.
President Ceausescu said he hoped the two countries could co-operate on joint projects in the coming years.
The Congo Republic's Foreign Minister is one of the longest serving members of his Government. He was first appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1963 and has travelled extensively throughout the world representing his country.
SYNOPSIS: The Foreign Minister of the Congo Republic, David Charles Ganao was in Rumania last week on an official visit. On Wednesday he met President Ceausescu.
Mr. Ganao and President Ceausescu discussed world political problems and the good relations that exist between Rumania and the Congo Republic. In the coming year, the Rumanian President also hopes to visit the Congo Republic. The delegations discussed the possibility of co-operation between the two countries on joint projects.
