    These house came into existence in the past few months. The effort was made by 20,000 building workers who came from various parts of the country to rebuild the city.

    This neighbourhood is being built by Siberians.

    And these are "Moscow" neighbourhoods of the Uzbek capital. Muscovites have already built about 1 million square feet of apartments and decided to treble the speed of housing construction this year.

    These apartment houses are being built by Leningraders...

    In the next four years the building trades workers expect to commission more than 50 million square feet of housing.
