U.S. imperialist military aircraft barbarously bombed and strafed Chinese fishing boats on the high seas?

  • Description

U.S. imperialist military aircraft barbarously bombed and strafed Chinese fishing boats on the high seas north of the Bac Co Gulf on the afternoon of May 28th, wounding and killing more than 20 Chinese fishermen; a Chinese fishing boat was sunk and three were damaged.

Here are two of the damaged fishing boats, Tunghsing No. 2242 and No. 2241 of Tunghsing Multi-National Autonomous County in the Kwangsi Chung People's Autonomous Region.

The inflicted fishermen have received the solicitous are and attention of the Chinese Communist Party and the People's Government.

This is a crew member of Boat No. 2241 who received two wounds on his left arm.

Fisherman Tsai Ching-mei's wife and his 3-year-old daughter were killed by U.S. bombing.

Debts of blood must be repaid with blood. The great Chinese people armed with Mao Tse-tung's thought are certainly not to be trifled with. They will reckon with the blood debts incurred by U.S. imperialism.

On May 31st a mass rally of 1,500 people was held in the city of Peihai in angry protest of the U.S. imperialist piratical act.

Mai Hong-ming, whose father Mai Chung Hsing was killed in a strafing of U.S. imperialist aircraft last year says indignantly that this debt of blood must be repaid. He continues that he will perfect his combat training in order to be well prepared to wipe out the enemy whenever they dare to invade.

This fisherman, who was wounded in a U.S. naval bombardment last year says that he will not forget these past scores but will avenge his brothers who have been killed and wounded by U.S. imperialism.

Militiamen pledge to hold still higher the great banner of Mao Tse-tung's thinking, step up their training and devote greater efforts to production so as to drown the U.S. imperialist aggressors in the vast ocean of a people's war.
