    On February 20 and 21 (1967), pilots from the attack carrier USS TICONDEROGA conducted air strikes with bombs and 20mm cannon fire on bridges, secondary roads, and enemy truck convoys north of the Mu Gia pass in North Vietnam.

    Navy pilots, flying A4E and A4C aircraft from attack squadrons 192 and 195, also struck a railroad staining boxcars south of Than Hoa.

    On March 1 and 2 pilots from the TICONDEROGA returned to North Vietnam to attack waterborne logistic craft along the coastline and inland waterways. They reported destroying 9 of the craft and damaging 54 more.

    On March 2, Navy pilots hit the Chi Ne Army barracks area, 35 miles south-southwest of Hanoi for the second straight day causing heavy damage and fires in the area. They also destroyed a pier 11 miles north-northeast of Vinh, a wooden bridge 24 miles south-southwest of Than Hoa, and struck POL (Petroleum Oil Lubricant) areas and barges.
