In a taxi-trailing a another car, our camera-man, Sepp Riff, want Douglas Stuart of the B.B.C. to interview Saeb Salam, leader of the opposition party in the Lebanon, and 'general' of the rebels that at present are fighting in the streets and countryside against the Chamoun Government's forces.
At the barracades that block the roads leading into the moslem quarter of the city, the taxi-driver refused to go any further, so Stuart and Riff climbed down and lugged their equipment through the guard streets to Saeb Salam's residence.
