    MORE INDONESIA VOLUNTEERS WILL LEAVE SHORTLY FOR THE MALAYSIAN BORDER IN BORNEO, IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY (MONDAY) BY ANTARA, THE OFFICIAL INDONESIAN NEWSAGENCY.

    THE FIRST GROUP (SEEN ON FILM) OF TWO BATTALIONS LEFT IN TWO SHIPS AT THE WEEKEND ESCORTED BY NAVAL VESSELS.

    THE COMBAT BRIGADE IS UNDER THE COMMAND OF COLONEL SABIRIN MOOHTAR, AN ARMY OFFICER WHO LED ONE INDONESIAN CONTINGENT TO THE UN FORCE IN THE CONGO. THERE ARE NEARLY 3,000 VOLUNTEERS IN THE BRIGADE AND THEY ARE TO TAKE UP POSITIONS ALONG INDONESIA'S 1,000 MILE BORDER WITH MALAYSIA.

    THE TROOPS WERE FAREWELLED BY THE GOVERNOR OF DJAKARTA BRIGADIER GENERAL SUMARNO.

    MEANWHILE AT THE WEEKEND, MALAYSIA, INDONESIA AND THE PHILIPPINES ANNOUNCED AGREEMENT TO HOLD TOP LEVEL TALKS IN TOKYO IN AN EFFORT TO SETTLE THE DISPUTE OVER MALAYSIA.

    THE ISSUE OF WITHDRAWAL OF INDONESIAN BACKED INFILTRATORS FROM MALAYSIAN BORNEO WILL DOMINATE THE TALKS AND MALAYSIAN OFFICIALS SAY THEIR PRIME MINISTER TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN WILL NOT GO TO THE SUMMIT UNTIL HE CONSIDERS A SATISFACTORY WITHDRAWAL HAS TAKEN PLACE.
