    UNCONFIRMED REPORTS FRO SINGAPORE STATE THE PRESIDENT HAD SOUGHT REFUGE ON A NAVAL VESSEL.

    MEANWHILE, DIPLOMATIC SOURCES STATE THAT HEAVY FIGHTING IS STILL GOING ON IN THE CAPITAL IN THE VICINITY OF THE PRESIDENT'S CAPITAL, AND THAT THERE WAS THE POSSIBILITY OF A COUNTER-ATTACK BY TROOPS REMAINING LOYAL.
