"Everything under the sun" replied President Eisenhower and British Prime Minister Mr. Harold Macmillan, when asked what they had discussed during Monday's 2 1/2-hour informal talks at the White House.
The two leader joked together for five minutes before joining Mr. Dulles and British Ambassador Sir Harold Gaccia, in the Cabinet Room. It was assumed that discussions were centred around defence problems and understood that Mr. macmillan raised problems regarding the exchange of atomic secrets.
The Prime Minister had visited President Eisenhower between two visits to American universities. the day before he had spoken at DaPauw University. After the White House talks, the two went on to Baltimore University, where Mr. Macmillan delivered the commencement address.
