    Shane Gould, 14-year-old Australian swimming star, today (Saturday) broke her second world record in the Coca Cola International Swimming Meet at London's Crystal Palace. She clocked a staggering 2 minutes 6.5 seconds in the 200-metres freestyle to clip a fifth of a second from the world record held by Debbie Meyer of the United States for the last three years. In fact, the "baby" of the Australian team also defeated Triple Olympic Champion Meyer into second place as she broke her record.

    Yesterday (Friday). the first day of the meet, Shane Gould also gained another world record when she equalled fallow-Australian Dawn Fraser with a 58.9-seconds for the 100-metre freestyle.
