    The Korean Marine Brigade of 5,000 in landing this morning (9/10) in Cam-Ranh Bay, 180 miles North East of Saigon.

    The 2nd Marine Brigade, led by the Commander Brigader Gen. Bong-Chool Lee, landed from the USSN General Le Ray Eltirige, and were welcome by Korean Ambassador Sang-Chul Shin as Commander Lt Gen. Throckmorton, Maj Gen. Tam, representing from VN Armed Forces, and many other high ranking officers.

    Gen. Lee inspected the Vietnamese Army honour guard at the pier and marched for his camp.

    All the troops transported to their camp by trucks and burried crossed the bay
    Their main mission is to keep security around the Cam-Ranh Bay, the U.S. biggest logistic support harbour in Vietnam.
