In their practice session, the Chinese players showed the skill and agility that helped them defeat the English team five-two that evening... While the Chinese are new to international Badminton competition, they are already regarded as a serious threat to the long established superiority of the teams from Malaysia and Indonesia... The four women and six men in the team have another reason for their trip -- they hope to promote friendship between China and Britain.
