Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev invited top foreign leaders to a special luncheon September 30 at the Park Avenue headquarters of his Mission. He stayed away from United Nations to prepare for it. Top guests were Yugoslavia's President Tito, President Gamal Abdel Nasser of United Arab Republic and India's Prime Minister Nehru, each of whom has laid claim to being the one to lead the neutralist bloc which seems to be emerging from this 15th General Assembly of the United Nations.

Absent were President Soekarno of Indonesia and President Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana. Nkrumah met Kruschev September 29 for two hours.
