Background: The Danish Foreign Minister, Mr. Knud Anderson, is due to leave Nairobi for home on Monday (20 March) after a five-day visit to Kenya.

During his stay, Mr. Andersen visited the Co-operative Colleges of kenya, which provides business and administration courses for Kenyans.

The college was established five years ago as a result of cooperation between Kenya and the countries of Scandinavia.

During his visit to the college, Mr. Andersen had talks with Kenya's Minister for Co-operatives and Social Services, Mr. Muliro, Also taking part in the talks were the Director of the Danish International Development Agency, Mr. Kastoft, and the Danish Ambassador to Kenya-designate, Mr. Kuhn.

(Mr. Anderson flew to Kenya after visiting Tanzania and Zambia. During his visit to Tanzania he announced that Denmark is to give substantial aid this year to African Nationalist guerrilla movements in the form of educational and humanitarian assistance. Mr. Andersen also promised technical assistance for Tanzania.)
