    THE FIRINGS, ORDERED BECAUSE OF A FALL IN HOME ORDERS DUE TO THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT'S ECONOMIC SQUEEZE, TRIGGERED AN UNOFFICIAL STRIKE BY THE MEN'S 1,200 WORKMATES AT A BMC FACTORY MAKING RADIATORS, PETROL TANKS AND EXHAUST UNITS. THE STRIKE IS STARVING ASSEMBLY PLANTS OF THE VITAL COMPONENTS WITHOUT WHICH THOUSANDS OF OTHER WORKERS CANNOT DO THEIR JOBS.
