Background: World Heavyweight boxing Champion George Foreman is now in the final days of training for his title fight with fellow United States boxer Ken Norton in Caracas, Venezuela on March 26th.
Foreman won the heavyweight crown from Joe Frazier last year, knocking him down six times in the two rounds the fight lasted. Norton's claim to fame is the fight in which he broke the jaw of former champion Muhammad Ali. Foreman is being assisted in his training by former light heavyweight champion Archie Moore, and he's in top form. The only problem he's facing is lack of sparring partners, most of whom can go only two rounds a session with the heavyweight champion. Foreman is letting nothing interfere with his fitness for the Norton fight ... he's even taken his own water to Venezuela with him. Thousands of people are packing into the Poliedro stadium to watch the champion's training sessions.
Despite Norton's upset win over Ali, Foreman is a favourite for the Caracas fight. If he does win, his next opponent will probably be Ali, who says he's going to win the title back before he retires.
