    Canadian journalist, Gerald Utting, arrived in London on Wednesday (13 July) after almost three weeks detention in a Ugandan prison. Mr Utting was formally arrested in Uganda for entering the country without a visa. The Toronno Star reporter said he was treated well and was fed twice a day with a cupful of boiled beans and maizo cake. Ugandan President, Idi Amin, has described Utting's arrest as a lesson for all those who want to play with Uganda.

    SYNOPSIS: Mr. Utting, was brought to London by Ugandan aircraft. He talked to a large group of reporters at the airport about his detention.
